And Off She Goes!!

Well Mackenzie crawled for the first time yesterday!! It was kind of a wierd little crawl/scoot, but she managed to get herself across the room. Pretty soon she will be wreeking havoc right along with her brothers!!

My "little" Boy

We just went down this morning and signed Alex up for preschool! I found out that Jefferson County, where we live, has a small preschool class run by parks and recreation and since I have heard some really good stuff about it I decided it would be good for him to start. He will go tuesdays and thursdays from 1pm-3:45pm starting Sept 4th. I am so excited for him but I can't believe that my little boy is going to be going to school!! He is so happy though, he wanted to go to school today when we went down to fill out the application, but I had to explain to him that he had to wait. My little boy is growing up!!

Sick House

Well, we all had a great weekend, except that on sunday the boys and I got a yucky cold, and by monday Timm had it too. It made him going back to work after having a week off just that much worse! LOL. But, we are starting to feel better aside from some runny noses. And in light of being sick I thought I would share this pic from about a month ago when Collin had a nasty fever for a few days, he was laying on the couch and Alex wanted to lay with him, it was very sweet and very cute.

In other news we are are going to be getting a cow next weekend!! He is only going to be about 10 days old when we get him. He is a cute little Jersey cow named Norman (after the cow from City Slickers, LOL). He will probably be just a pet until the boys are old enough to do 4H and then he may be a show cow. I will post pics when we get him :-).

9 Month Check-up

Mackenzie had her 9 month check-up yesterday. She is healthy and growing well. She is 15lbs 14ozs and 28 inches long. Length wise she is in the 75th percentile for her age, and in weight she is in the 5th percentile for her age, another Timm double (tall and skinny), LOL. We also just switched her to a sippy cup, which she is doing well with. It doesn't comfort her the same way her bottle did, but she drinks from it pretty well, so we will stick with it. She is growing up so fast! :-)

It's Potty Time!!!

Well, I am so proud to announce that Alex is finally potty training!!! For the past week or so he has been working on it, having success about 50% of the time, and finally he hasn't had a single accident and has used the potty everytime all day!! He even woke up dry this morning. And then later when we were out running errands he told us he had to go, so we stopped at a gas station and he went in with Timm and went there!!! I am just so proud of him I could burst, this has been a long time coming and he is doing so incredibly well. His big prize he is working on is if he goes a full 24 hours without any accidents and using the potty every single time he gets a mickey mouse watch. So, if he wakes up dry tomorrow, we will be going shopping!! YAY ALEX!!!!

On another note, we had a great 4th of July. We had a bunch of family up and did a ton of fire works , after it stopped pouring rain of course. Thank you to everyone for coming, we had a blast!! (pun intended, lol)

Also, Little Mackenzie is sitting up now. The little stinker wouldn't sit at all, then all of a sudden one morning I walked into her room and the little booger was sitting in her crib, just smiling. And now everytime she is on the floor she gets her self sitting, of course she doesn't know how to get out of that position, so after about 5 minutes she has to be rescued. LOL My babies are growing up too fast!!

And well, the next adventure is Collin's Birthday next month, when did my little boogerface get to be 2 years old??? Man, time goes by too fast. (and no one needs to mention my 25th birthday in August either, hey at least my insurance will go down, LOL). :-)
