Boys can be pretty too!

Last night Timm had an event at work and was out late. So, I sat and watched foodnetwork and painted my nails after Collin and Mackenzie went to bed. Alex saw me painting my toes and wanted me to paint his, so I did. He loved it and I think it is cute. :-)

Boys just wanna have fun

Both boys love wearing my and Timm's shoes, this morning Collin was having a ball prancing around the house in my sandals.

And well, I finally caved. I needed a few minutes to eat lunch and the regular tv shows weren't cutting it, so I let Alex play on the computer at Playhousedisney.com. I don't think he had any idea what he was doing but he was happy to be doing what daddy does, and it only lasted about 15 minutes. But at least I actually got to sit down to eat some lunch, lol.

My little boy is growing up

Well, Alex is quickly becoming a little man. Today he said a very well put together sentence that suprised me. He was trying to climb up onto the desk and I told him he needed to get down and he looked at me and said "Mommy, help me please". It may not sound like a big deal, but when most of his sentences are made up of imaginary words and inverted word order, the fact that he put that together and said please was very exciting. He also now has 2 chores, he feeds the dogs and puts away the utensils after they are washed. He is very good at sorting and does a great job. It is hard to believe what was a 2lbs 13oz little baby is now such a helpful, growing little man.

Who needs toys!

Well, I bought my new vacuum. And of course it came in a huge box which the boys quickly took over as a "train" and played with for hours. Who needs lots of toys when you have a box!! :-)

Two goats and a monkey

Meet our new babies!! We got 2 new goats this weekend from our neighbor up on the hill. The all white one is Snowball and the white and brown one is Brownie. They are both neutered boys and are very sweet. Hopefully their big sisters will stop bullying them so much, right now Mary headbutts them anytime they try to go in the stable. I think it will just take time. And of course my sweet Colli, being the monkey that he is playing on the playset having a grand old time.

What a beautiful weekend it has been. We kept ourselves very busy, finishing the new chicken coup and cleaning out our swimming pool. But Amma was here and was a big help watching the kids and mucking about in our pond of a swimming pool. So, now that we are completely sunburned and quite tired, hopefully today will be a quiet day. And maybe I will take advantage of any sales and go buy a new vacuum cleaner today, as our 4 year old one pooped itself. I know, the dreams of a house wife, LOL.

A girl and her dragon

Mackenzie got this dragon for Christmas and now has gotten quite attached to it. many times when I come in to get her up she is clinging to it or chewing on it. This morning she would not let it go when I got her put of her crib and I just thought it was too precious not to take a picture.

Yes, we do go outside. :-P

After looking at all the pictures I have posted I realized they were all taken inside. Today Ali and I played outside for a few minutes while Collin and Mackenzie were napping. He loves his new playset, except he is usually too scared to go down the slide.

Just a Little Update

Well, nothing too exciting has happened in the last few days. Saturday night Timm and I went out to dinner, which was wonderful. After that we just took it easy for the weekend. Alex's new favorite thing is talking back, or saying "I can't like that!" when he doesn't want something, which is annoying as all get out. And poor Collin, we are realizing has a food alergy to tomatos. As a baby he would get spots whenever he ate tomato sauce, but as a toddler that reaction had gone away so we assumed he had grown out of it. Well, recently he has begun to have a lot of stomach problems which always end up in a horrible diaper rash, I mean this poor kid as diaper rashes every 2 weeks. And the only difference has been that we have had spaghetti a few times and pizza a few times in the last few weeks, which is more than usual. So, no more tomatoes for Collin and hopefully that will help. And Mackenzie, well she is her usual happy self. :-)

No pictures today, but hopefully I will have something for tomorrow.

Sweet Baby Girl

Mackenzie is growing so fast! She babbles all the time and is working on getting up onto her hands and knees. She doesn't sit on her own yet, but she will get there. Her adjusted age is still a little shy of 6 months since she was a preemie, so for her adjusted age she is right on track!! And I am so surprised that she is such a happy, quiet, calm baby. She sleeps all night, then wakes up and plays in her crib for like an hour before I hear a peep out of her. She is content to just sit and play most of the time, especially now that she can grab and bat at stuff. I keep telling her that in this house she needs to be a little louder or else we might forget she is here with all that goes on everyday! LOL.

Paint, Wonderful Paint

Alex had fun yesterday morning painting. He LOVES to paint, whether it is outside with daddy or inside doing crafts. The only problem is he has a tendency to want to paint everything, himself and the furniture included. LOL.

Get Up 'Kenzie!

I went in to get Mackenzie up for her dinner and two little boys wanted to help. Though they probably just wanted to jump on her bed, their new favorite past-time. :-)

Monday, May 12, 2008

I guess I can't leave these 2 goofballs out. The one of Alex was taken when he payed with playdough for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and the one of Mackenzie was taken right after she ate dinner one night. :-)

BROWNIES!!!

This is what happens when you mix brownie batter, Collin, and a mommy who was too tired to care. LOL. At least it let me get a picture of this little boy's bright smile, something few have seen from this shy little munchkin.

Hello Everyone!

Hi All!! Not like our lives are that exciting, but I figure it will be fun to share our adventures with all those who love us and especially the kiddos. They grow up so fast and we live so far from everyone that it is always difficult to get together, but now you can see what fun, silly, and exciting things my three monkeys are doing whenever you want! LOL. I will try to post something everyday, but depending on the day it may be more or it maybe less.
